The foundation of all good cooking begins with your ability to use a knife safely and properly. From sharpening and kitchen safety to cutting boards and brunoise, in our knife skills class, we’ll show you everything you need to know about using your knife effectively. Students can expect to learn cuts on a variety of ingredients including potatoes, zucchinis, tomatoes, onions, and carrots. Your skills will also be tested by breaking down an entire raw chicken.

We’ll show you how to use your knife correctly and make you feel more comfortable using it in the kitchen. By the end, you’ll be chopping like a pro!

If you want a crash course in cooking, this class is for you. This 5- to 6-hour cooking class will immerse you in the culinary essentials. We will cover the most important concepts of culinary school in one day.  We begin with knife skills and kitchen safety and move on to making stocks, cooking meats, finishing with sauces and making purees. In addition, we will roast vegetables, make a salad with vinaigrette, and end with dessert. All the culinary basics in one fun day of cooking.
These classes are 3 to 4 hours and can be a 3-day, 5-day, or 7-day series. Just like all of our cooking classes, they are customizable to your culinary goals. We organize each series to add and enhance your culinary techniques with each day of cooking. Learning through repetition creates skill and confidence, which are the cornerstones of good cooking.

Cooking is an important skill to teach children at a young age. An organized class is a great way to introduce young ones to the fun and creativity of cooking and baking as well as show them new ingredients, styles of cuisine, and cooking techniques.

This is a great option for birthday parties and events. Whether it’s a 4-course meal or a dessert themed-party, your little chefs will have a great time learning, cooking, and eating food that they made themselves!

A no-nonsense, to-the-point, “get cooking” class. For all the guys you know who “just want to cook something good.”

We designed this class for men who have little or no kitchen experience. We want you to learn as much as possible, at a comfortable rate. We will create a menu filled with culinary fundamentals and teach you how to apply them to other ingredients and cuisines.

Guys can expect to learn knife skills (break down a whole chicken), how to saute, pan-roast, grill, make marinades + rubs, as well as purees and salads. All the stuff you need to know to live and eat well, and to impress a “friend” or two.

“Searing is searing. If I can teach you to sear a chicken breast perfectly, then you can apply the same single technique to pork, beef, and fish. It’s that basic, and I can teach you.”

The overall experience was fantastic. The set-up of the stations was great and I loved the practical tips and tricks you threw in as we went. I also very much appreciated your attention to detail (starting with hygeine :)) and encouraging all of us to focus on technique.
